Just Me

Just Me

WELCOME

Hi,

Welcome to "Tidbits from a Broad." My name is Kim and I am the broad.

I hope that you will enjoy my blog and that you will share "Tidbits" of your life! I would love to hear about your trials and tribulations of being a parent and/or working woman. Please share your hopes, your dreams, your sorrows, and most of all....your happiness!

I design private aircraft but my hobbies are cooking, photography, and scrapbooking. I love reading and I also enjoy the thrill of trying to make little video clips! Let me know if any of you share the same hobbies.

Our family has a history of heart disease and more recently breast cancer...so feel free to share those subjects as well. We lost our sweet Father to heart disease December 29, 2006 and my youngest sister is a 8 year breast cancer survivor...I recently had a prophylactic mastectomy to prevent breast cancer. I travel to unusual places and have tons of stories about the unusual people I've met...

Join me and share the journey! You can also find me as a Co-Admin. of the Facebook site called, Prophylactic Mastectomy and the Co-Founder of the My Destiny Foundation!

Look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Kim

The drive thru zoo and Silver Dollar City with my three little giggly nieces!

9 GLORIOUS FUN FILLED DAYS! Every summer we get to have Karen's girls, Carli and Ella for a week. As you can see...this is also bonding time with Rich and Cindy's little Sarah. It's always a crazy fun-filled adventure that ends with tears as they leave for Phoenix! Here are a few pics from the latest adventure!  (June 2011)

We MISS them already  : (

30 minutes into the trip! Sarah's out!

Aunt Cindy helps the girls load their nerf balls!

Sarah takes aim!

Ella (foreground) and Carli

I want this little red barn on my property : )

Ella and Sarah demonstrated strength and daring skills!

4 times!

I forgot the name of this place.... it messes with your head. Gravity pulls you in all different directions! Its really fun! I've heard that it is possible to build a smaller version for school carnivals!

We can't get up!!!!!!

The cutest thing ever!

OK...maybe this is the cutest thing ever!

Creepy and funny pictures inside the exibit!

This little video clip is where Ella and I decided to go over and check out the monkey cages. This chimpanzee was at the very end. There was a sign that showed two names, a boy and a girl. Ella and I asked the monkey which one he/she was? The monkey immediately gave us "the raspberry"! We ran to get the others and the voices you hear are all of us trying to get he/she to keep doing it! It was toooooooo funny!

Zebra following us while Ella feeds him! We are not supposed to be feeding the animals or have the windows down. Aunt Kimmi is a very bad influence but if there's one thing I've learned in life it is to break a few rules! Life is a lot more fun that way!!!!!!!

Ella holding the little baby monkey's hand : )

Beautiful! The park has expanded and added a lot of water features throughout. In the old days... you never would have seen this : )

This poor little guy has a hairlip!

Too funny! The camera caught the bread while it was being thrown out of the window. It looks GIANT! LOL!!!!

The donkeys want some too : (

I just love this picture don't you?

I guess the park gets donations from all kinds of food sources. Carli was amazed, upon further investigation to see that the pigs were eating "Nutter Butter's" and cake!!!

 Too funny! Let me go!!!

  AWWWWWW! So sweet!

  Perhaps my favorite shot?

  NOTICE THE SIGN BEHIND THEM!!!!!

Ella takes the final shot of this beautiful peacock!
